"Ronan has been teaching music to the children of the Belleek area since September, 2006.
His teaching has brought a whole new dimension to the children's learning and has given them the opportunity to become aware of the wealth of local fiddle styles and compositions. The children have also became aware of and continue to enjoy learning the intricacies of sean-nós dance.
A successful annual festival has now developed, afforded them the opportunity to learn of the musicial style of John Joe Gordon (RIP, 2002) and gain exposure to other living legends such as Ben Lennon.
Ronan has taken the children from learners to competent and maturing fiddle players in their own right.
As well as an invaluable teacher; children, parents and the wider community now see Ronan as an intrical part of the Belleek community."
